Site Engineer
Design meets delivery — where blueprints become buildings.
What you’ll do
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings on-site
- Oversee quality control across all construction phases
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and consultants
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Produce site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation
What we need
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ site engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools
- Registered with the Uganda Engineers Registration Board (ERB)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving ability
Operations
Site Foreman
The backbone of every great build — leading crews, driving progress.
What you’ll do
- Direct daily operations of site teams and casual labourers
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and site procedures
- Coordinate material deliveries and track usage on-site
- Maintain construction schedules and flag delays promptly
- Liaise between site workers and engineering/management teams
- Enforce quality standards at every stage of the build
What we need
- Diploma or certificate in Building Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a site foreman or crew leader
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
- Basic literacy in construction drawings and safety standards
